אי אפשר להישאר אדישים לחובי סטאר. הדמות והפרפורמנס הכל כך מזוהים חדרו לכולנו ללב ב"הכוכב הבא לאירוזיון" וכמובן באירויוזיון. לאחר מסע ארוך, השתתפות באין ספור הפקות ופרוייקטים – משחרר חובי סוף סוף סינגל ראשון לקראת אלבום הבכורה.
חובי פרץ לתודעתנו בשנת 2009, הישר מלהקה צבאית אל הריאליטי. ב"הכוכב הבא לאירויזיון" כבש את המנטורים, זכה במקום הראשון וייצג את ישראל באירוויזיון 2016 עם השיר Made Of Star איתו הגיע למקום ה-14 בגמר.
לאורך השנים כתב, הלחין ובעיקר חיכה לרגע המתאים לצאת לדרך.

אלבום הבכורה שבדרך נעשה באופן עצמאי בו חובי לקח את כל ההתנהלות לידיו החל מן האמנות והיצירה ועד ההפקה בפועל. הוא חבר למוסיקאי והמפיק חן מצגר- אדר אשר גם הפיק את שיר האירויזיון ויחד הם יצרו את אלבום הבכורה אשר ייצא בקרוב.
השיר Silver Spoon (כפית מכסף) משוחרר יחד עם קליפ אותו ביים והפיק חובי בעצמו.
חובי אמר עם יציאת הסינגל, "אני מאד מתרגש מהיציאה לדרך. זה פרוייקט שאני עובד עליו מעל שנתיים והוא באמת אני. אין בו שום דבר פרט לאמת הפנימית שלי ולדרך העצמאית שלי.הפזמון של השיר, המוטו של חיי… אומר שגם אם יסגרו כל הדלתות- אני אמצא לי חלון להכנס, תמיד אופטימי להגיע למקום שלי, להצליח גם ללא כפית של זהב בפה."
